I can tell you that very young, I fell into the cauldron… As far as I can remember, I’ve always been attracted by nature, through relatives (owners of an old isolated farm in the heart of the Vosges mountains) but also through uncles (forest guard and loggers) who taught me the basics…
I still remember devouring books about animals and birds for hours during my childhood. These readings also helped me to hone my naturalist knowledge.
The photography will come much later… And it is therefore natural that I turned to wildlife photography… Indeed, attempt to capture wild and furtive moments is for me a real source of motivation, it also allows me to decompress and to not think about anything.
At about 40 years old, I’m so far established in Lorraine, not far from the Luxembourg border. I have the privilege of living in the countryside, a region quite rich in terms of flora and fauna and it’s this closeness to nature that allows me to regularly escape my home for walks in search of images.
This same passion also led me to travel and discover other wildernesses mainly in northern Europe.
Even though I was at first much more attracted to fauna in general, I have gradually learned to explore other equally specific disciplines and thus lay my eyes on the flora and landscapes.
To date, several of my images were selected in national competitions as well as abroad.
Here is a selection of my best photographs. I sincerely hope that you will enjoy having a look through them as much as I enjoyed taking them!
Enjoy your visit!
